Snake captured in Newberry County getting new home
NEWBERRY COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The big snake that was captured in Newberry County on Tuesday now has a new home to slither to.
The 12-foot python was found near the Mid-Carolina campus and safely corralled by Warren Gallman and his family with additional help of area deputies.
Well, according to Gallman and Sheriff Lee Foster the snake will be going to the Edisto Island Serpentarium.
Gallman says he felt this was the most responsible choice for the safety of the animal and the community.
