RCSD investigating suspicious fire at club

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies are investigating a suspicious fire that happened at a club on Thursday, say deputies.

Investigators say the fire happened at Club Dough on 8605 Two Notch Road around 2 a.m. on Thursday morning, Aug, 21.

Deputies were patrolling the area surrounding Two Notch Road and Weir Road when they noticed smoke coming from Club Dough.

Columbia-Richland Fire Department was requested at the scene.

Investigators say the club was closed at the time of the fire.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives is leading the origin and cause of the fire investigation.

While RCSD is leading the criminal investigation.
