LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Officials with Lexington School District One say no students were hurt when a school bus was rear-ended Friday morning.

A district spokesperson says a bus running a route for Gilbert Middle School and Gilbert High School was rear ended on Branch Pond Road on Friday, August 22.

We’re told three students and the driver were on the bus at the time but no one was hurt.

The highway patrol says just before 7:30 a.m. this morning an SUV ran into a pickup truck which then hit the bus.

The drivers of the SUV and the truck were taken with minor injuries.

Troopers say the driver of the SUV was charged with driving too fast for conditions.
