RC Recreation Commission held ribbon cutting ceremony for new pickle ball courts

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Pickle ball continues to grow in the Midlands.

Tuesday, August 26, the Richland County Recreation Commission held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the brand new pickle ball courts at the Denny Terrace Gym.

Pickleball is a combination of ping pong and tennis that has gained popularity over the years.

Officials say they can’t wait for people to start playing.

The Recreation Commission recently opened a cricket ball court in Blythewood as well.
