U.S. economy’s rebound in second quarter stronger than previously reported

(CNN)– The U.S. economy rebounded in the second quarter better than previously reported.

Gross domestic product which is a reading of all the goods and services produced in the economy had a 3.3% yearly rate from April through June.

This is the second estimate from the Commerce Department which originally posted an annualized rate of 3%.

It’s a big bump from the economy’s half-percentage-point drop in the first quarter.
