Hawaiian and Japanese fusion restaurant holds grand opening for ‘Surfin Sumo’
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Surf’s up in downtown Columbia.
On Thursday, August 28, city officials attended the grand opening of ‘Surfin Sumo’ on Taylor Street.
The restaurant says it offers a fusion of Hawaiian and Japanese cuisine.
The restaurant’s owners promise a dining experience that will make customers want to hang-ten.
Mayor Daniel Rickenmann along with members of the City Council and the City’s Office of Economic Development attended today’s ceremony.
