Powerball jackpot increases to $1.4 billion

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Powerball leaders have increased the jackpot for tonight to an estimated $1.4 billion, said lottery officials.

Wednesday night’s Sept. 3, jackpot ranks as the fourth largest in the Powerball game and the sixth largest among U.S. lottery jackpot games.

South Carolinians interested in buying a Powerball ticket must purchase their ticket by 9:59 p.m. for the drawing at 10:59.

Tickets are $2 and available at most grocery stores and convenience stores in our state.
