Stolen car linked to 2022 murder found

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies have found a stolen vehicle that was linked to a murder from 2022.

Richland County Sheriff’s Department deputies say on January 10, 2022, 81-year-old Lewis Jenerette was found shot to death at a home on Hickory Hill Road in Eastover.

According to deputies, Jenerette’s vehicle was also missing from the yard.

Deputies recovered the missing Chevy Impala from the Wateree River on Monday.

Jadon Harper was arrested and charged with murder.
