Coroner identifies victims in three separate fires
Lexington Co., S.C. (WOLO)– The Lexington Co. Coroner’s Office released the identities of three people killed in separate fires.
The first happened at the Acapulco Campground in Leesville just after 2am on September 9th.
According to the coroner Jeffrey Willaimson, 50, of Blythewood was taken to the Augusta Burn Center where he was pronounced dead on September 10th.
Fire crews responded Sunday to a home on B Avenue in West Columbia.
Officials say Lila Gunter, 65, was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Sunday, the coroner says Luther Price, 74, of Gilbert died in a house fire on Schofield Rd.
The fire is under investigation by the Lexington Co. Sheriff’s Dept., Lexington Co. Fire Services, SLED, and ATF.
The incident remains under investigation by the West Columbia Police Department, SLED,
and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office.
