Baby food pouches recalled due to contamination

(CNN)– Sprout Organics is recalling one lot of its baby food pouches because they could be contaminated with elevated levels of lead.

The recall affects three-and-a-half-ounce pouches of Sprout Organics sweet potato, apple, and spinach.

The product was sold mainly at Walgreens and some independent stores across the South between September and December of 2024.

No other Sprout Organics products are affected.

You can return the product to the store for a full refund.

So far, no illnesses have been reported.
