Dutch Fork Fire Crews respond to structure fire off of Sweet Thorne Road

IRMO, S.C. (WOLO)– Shortly after 11 a.m. Dutch Fork Fire Crews responded to a reported structure fire off of Sweet Thorne Road, says the fire rescue dept.

Crews quickly upgraded to a working fire after a smoke column was spotted while en route, says the fire rescue dept.

All occupants made it out of the structure with one being taken by EMS for smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshall’s Office.
