Anker power banks recalled due to fire, burn risk

(CNN)– Some popular portable charges are now part of a major safety recall.

Anker is pulling nearly half-a-million power banks off the market because their lithium-ion batteries can overheat posing fire and burn risks.

They were sold nationwide at retailers including Best Buy, and Target, and online between August 2023, and June of this year.
