RCSD: 1 charged after Friday morning shooting at car dealership
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Investigators say they responded to a shooting at the Volkswagen dealership on Killian Road just after 11 on Friday morning.
Deputies say Joshua Ramdeen approached two other people at the dealership and threatened them with a gun.
Also, deputies say in defense one of the men he approached was able to take the gun, but during the struggle it went off striking Ramdeen.
Further investigation revealed that Ramdeen and the two other individuals are known to each other.
The investigation also revealed that Ramdeen confronted the two individuals while they were conducting business at the location.
Then a verbal altercation happened between Ramdeen and one of the two individuals, who was identified as the victim in this case.
Officials say Ramdeen was taken to the hospital, when he is released he will be charged with assault and pointing and presenting a firearm.
