Man arrested for Forest Walker Court murder Sunday, victim identified

RICHLAND CO., S.C. (WOLO)  – Richland County deputies have arrested a man for a fatal shooting early Sunday morning.

Keith Bagley, 65, has been charged with murder, attempted murder, and two counts of possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

According to investigators, around 1:15 a.m., deputies responded to a shooting on Forest Walker Court, where they found a man with a gunshot wound to the upper body at a residence near the location of the shooting.

Deputies say while they were detaining Bagley, who was drinking a beer on the front porch, they found a woman lying face down in the doorway with a gunshot wound.

She was pronounced dead on scene and the male victim was taken to the hospital.

The Richland County Coroner’s Office has released the women’s identity as Rachel Branham, 37, of Irmo.

Bagley is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
