Abraham the Camel passes away

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– A beloved fixture at events across the Midlands has passed away.

According to a statement from his owners on Facebook, Abraham the Camel died at around 2am Tuesday following a lengthy surgery.

Abraham made regular appearances at events like the Chapin Labor Day Parade, the Irmo Okra Strut, and was famous for his love of Mountain Dew.
