Orangeburg Co. deputies seeking the identity of two women accused of shoplifting

 

 

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said investigators are seeking the identity of two women accused of shoplifting at a local department store Monday.

Orangeburg County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the Walmart Supercenter on North Road around 12:30 p.m. after receiving a report of shoplifters.

Investigators said the business’s loss and prevention department noticed two women putting items in a bag.

When confronted, one woman was found to be concealing $77 worth of items in a bag she was carrying.

Another woman pushing a shopping cart with a toddler in the seat is believed to have been putting the items in the bag.

Both women then left the store.
