Part of Kingsbury Road in Sumter County to temporarily close for maintenance

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO– Part of Kingsburg Road between Stadium Road and Brigatine Drive in Sumter County will be temporarily closed, says SCDOT.

South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) says it will be closed to traffic beginning on Monday, October 13.

Additionally, the dept. says the closure will allow crews to perform maintenance on the road.

The closure is expected to last until Tuesday, October 14.

As part of the closure, a detour route will be set up.

Please note that Kingsbury Road will be open to local traffic only during the closure.

SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention when driving through a work zone.
