Salvation Army of the Midlands unveils courtyard
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The Salvation Army of the Midlands celebrated two milestones on Friday.
In the afternoon on October 17, officials with the Salvation Army announced it is only the second organization in the state to receive the Columbia College Agency Certification in trauma-informed educational practices, through their center for organization resilience.
The Salvation Army also unveiled its newly completed youth education and trauma-informed courtyard.
The courtyard was made possible through a grant from the Lowe’s hometowns project.
