Base Load Review Act passes Senate

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO) – A bill repealing the Base Load Review Act is moving forward.

This afternoon the Senate gave final approval to a measure that does away with the law that made it possible for SCANA and Santee Cooper to charge ratepayers for the failed V.C. Summer project.

That measure was sent to the House this afternoon, but representatives sent it back with amendments.
