Disney to celebrate America’s 250th birthday
(CNN)– Next year marks the 250th anniversary of America.
Monday, Oct. 20, the Walt Disney Company announced its plans to celebrate this historic milestone.
Starting on Veteran’s Day next month, Disney will begin featuring special programming and storytelling across its different platforms.
The celebration will culminate on the July Fourth weekend with a 24-hour, multi-platform broadcast.
The live show will highlight events taking place across the country to mark America’s birthday, and will end with fireworks shows from Walt Disney world and Disneyland.
