DSS: TANF recipients to receive November benefits

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Department of Social Services says Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) recipients will be receiving their benefits next month.

Officials say that unlike SNAP recipients which is fully federally funded, the TANF program is funded with a federal block grant along with a smaller state portion of funds.

That means that TANF recipients will receive their November 2025 benefits.

Details about the distribution of TANF benefits for December 2025 will be provided when they become available.
