COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – A local barbershop is lending a helping hand to families in need during the ongoing shutdown.

Opulence Grooming & More has launched a food pantry at its location, 6941 North Trenholm Road, Suite P2, during business hours listed below:

  • Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Owner Almando Brown says they’re collecting non-perishable food donations such as canned goods, rice, pasta, peanut butter, and cereal.

The food pantry will serve as a drop-off location and as a distribution site.
