Sumter Co. deputies seeking burglary suspects
Sumter, Co., S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter Co. deputies say they are looking for three people who broke into a business on Peach Orchard Rd. early Tuesday morning.
Investigators say just after midnight they responded to they business where the suspects had thrown something through the front door to get inside.
Once inside, deputies say the suspect stole several items including vaping devices before running away.
“Sumter County citizens are generally honest, hard-working people, but there are those who choose to steal and take what is not theirs,” Sheriff Anthony Dennis said.
“These criminals hurt individuals, businesses, and the reputation of our county. We are better than this — and many times good citizens step up, share a tip, earn a
reward, and help bring criminals to justice.”
Anyone with information that may help investigators identify the suspects is asked to call the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office at 803-436-2000 or submitted through Crime Stoppers by visiting
