Jim Hudson donates $25K to Prisma Health
SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)– October marks Breast Cancer Awareness month, and the American Cancer Society estimates that more than 300,000 women will receive a breast cancer diagnosis this year.
Early detection can help combat the disease which is why Jim Hudson Automotive Group is helping the fight.
Wednesday, October 29, in Sumter, the organization donated $25,000 to Prisma Health which includes Tuomey Hospital in Downtown Sumter.
The money will help support prevention, early detection, and awareness of breast cancer.
On average, every two minutes a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States.
