Local Living: MLK Honor the Dream Food Drive, SCSO’s car show, 2025 Jingle Jam

LOCAL LIVING: COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, the City of Columbia is hosting its annual Dr. Martin Luther King Honor the Dream Food Drive.

It’s open now through Friday, November 14th.

You can visit several locations to donate non-perishable food to benefit Harvest Hope Food Bank.

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office has postponed their barbecue cook-off and car show.

The event is now on Saturday, November 8th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sumter County Civic Center.

You and the family can win door prizes and enjoy some delicious barbecue.

Admission is also free.

 

Get ready to jam out for the holidays.

The 2025 Jingle Jam is Sunday, November 16th from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Steel Hands Brewery.

You can enjoy live music, pictures with Santa and more all to raise funds for the Babcock Center.

The event is free to attend.

 

The Town of Eastover is excited to announce its annual Christmas parade.

The event will be filled with holiday music, colorful floats, and family-friendly activities.

it takes place on December 13 at noon at the Eastover Town Hall on Main Street.
