K9 Cade to receive protective vest

CLARENDON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A Midlands K9 officer is getting some new gear.

Friday, Nov. 7, the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office announced K9 Cade will receive a bullet and stab protective vest.

The vest will be provided thanks to a charitable donation from the non-profit Vested Interest in K9s.

The 501-C3 was established in 2009 to provide protective vests to four-legged officers throughout the country.
