SCDOT to conduct traffic shift for I-26/I-95 Interchange Project in Orangeburg

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– SCDOT will conduct a traffic shift and implement ramp closures as part of the I-26/I-95 Interchange Project in Orangeburg County beginning Monday night.

Monday night, November 10, traffic will be shifted on I-95 Southbound at mile marker 86 onto the new I-95 bridge over I-26 so that crews can continue to work on this project.

In addition, beginning at 7 p.m., there will be two interchange ramp detours that will be in place until Thursday, November 13, says SCDOT.

The I-26 Westbound ramp to I-95 Southbound as well as the I-95 Southbound ramp to I-26 Eastbound will be closed.

Drivers are encouraged to slow down and pay attention to detour signs in the area.

As well as pay attention to crews when driving through the work zone.
