Man arrested in Low-country following shooting in Richland County

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department say a suspect in a Midlands murder was arrested in the Low-country.

Investigators say Mario Corrales was arrested Monday, Dec. 1, in Summerville in connection with a shooting death on Percival Road in Richland County.

Deputies say on Saturday, Corrales and the victim, were in an argument when Corrales shot and killed the victim.

Deputies say Corrales and the victim knew each other prior to the shooting.
