Scout Motors continues to create jobs in the Palmetto State

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Scout Motors continues to create jobs in the Palmetto State.
Tuesday, Dec. 2, the Governor’s Office announced Sodecia selected Orangeburg County to establish the company’s first South Carolina operation to support Scout Motors.
Officials say the $120 million investment will create nearly 400 new jobs.
The Portuguese based company will serve as a parts supplier for Scout Motors.
Construction on the new facility is expected to be complete in 2027.
