RCSD: Missing 12-year-old boy found safe

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies say 12-year-old Joel Inbody has been located and is safe.

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies are searching for a missing 12-year-old boy, say investigators.

RCSD says Joel Inbody was seen in the area of Fonthill Drive around 1:40 p.m. on Wednesday.

He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and black pants with a black cast on his right arm.

Investigators also say, the boy was seen on video at a convenience store at 9900 Two Notch Road around 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10.

If anyone has seen Joel, or have any information regarding his whereabouts call 911 or Richland County Sheriff’s Department at (803) 576-3000.

Richland County investigators are concerned for his safety.

Due to his young age and the current cold weather conditions, there is reason to believe he may be in danger.

Law enforcement say he left the home driving his father’s 2018 Toyota Camry, South Carolina tag UMZ-329.
