Coastal Goes For NCAA Tournament History

(WOLO) — Coastal Carolina is one of two NCAA tournament teams from the state of South Carolina this year. The Big South tournament champion Chanticleers are the #16 seed in the East region and will play ACC champion #1 seed Virginia in Raleigh, NC on Friday. A #16 seed has never beaten a #1 seed. Wofford is the #15 seed in the Midwest Region and will play #2 seed Michigan in the first round in Milwaukee, WI on Thursday. Wofford earned a spot in the Big Dance by winning the Southern Conference tournament.
