Orangeburg Firefighters control fires

 

 

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO)– Orangeburg City Firefighters along with assistance from the Orangeburg County Fire District worked to extinguish two structure fires occurring within 12 minutes of each other in 20-degree weather, according to officials.

Upon firefighters arrival, crews encountered well-developed fires at both locations with a roof and wall collapse already present.

Firefighters worked to bring both fires under control.

In addition to those fires, Orangeburg City Firefighters responded to a third structure fire Monday morning, Dec. 15, which was brought under control.

Searches of all structures confirmed there were no occupants or injuries.
