Local Living: Wild Lights, Fireflies Holiday Lights, Winter Sparkfest, CRFD’s holiday food drive
LOCAL LIVING: COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, Riverbanks Zoo’s Wild Lights continues from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight.
You can enjoy 60 larger-than-life handcrafted wildlife lantern displays, photos with Santa, and much more.
If you can’t make it tonight, the display goes through January 11.
You can also catch some Christmas lights at Segra Park.
Fireflies Holiday Lights are open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each night through January 3.
You and the family can ride the Fireflies Express to see over a million lights, enjoy some food, visits from Santa, and more.
The Winter Sparkfest Shines Bright charity event is this weekend.
The fundraiser is hosted by 14-year-old CEO Jaiden Bostic and will take place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec.19, and Saturday, Dec. 20 on Old Clemson Road.
For $5 you can enjoy live music, food vendors, and appearances from community leaders and youth organizations.
All the money raised will go to local charities.
This year’s goal $5,000.
Tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 19, is the last day to donate to Columbia-Richland Fire Department’s holiday food drive.
They will collect canned goods and non-perishable food items at all of their stations in Richland County.
They advise you to make sure none of the food you donate is expired.
