Columbia Police investigating day after Christmas apartment complex shooting

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– CPD officers are investigating after a non-fatal shooting happened at an apartment complex the day after Christmas, say police.

Officers say the shooting happened on Friday morning, Dec. 26, at the Hampton Court Apartments at 501 Pelham Drive, around 11:30 a.m.

A male victim was found outside with a non-life-threatening injury to the lower body.

Investigators are determining the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
