City of Columbia to host animal services hiring fair

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– City of Columbia Human Resources Department and Columbia Animal Services is hosting a hiring fair next month.

City officials say they are searching for Animal Service Technicians, a Foster Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator, Animal Services Supervisor and a part-time Veterinarian to hire.

The hiring team is looking for people who love to serve their community, connect with people, and care deeply for animal welfare.

Anyone looking to work for Columbia Animal Services can go to the event on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Earlewood Park at 1113 Recreation Drive, 29203.
