SCDNR officer left uninjured after being shot at ‘repeatedly’ in Edgefield County
(WCIV) — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is investigating after an officer with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources was shot at “repeatedly” in Edgefield County Sunday and escaped with no injuries.
SCDNR said that the shooting occurred in the early morning hours of Dec. 28. It is believed at this time a silver or light blue 4-door sedan was the subject vehicle involved in the shooting, but the vehicle’s tag is unknown.
