Search underway at national park

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies is working along with SLED and park rangers at Congaree National Park to perform welfare check, according to RCSD.

Around 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 30, park rangers were notified by an individual that saw a distraught person in the park.

Currently law enforcement resources are searching for the person.
