SCDMV new web address goes live

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– On Monday, Jan. 5, the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles changed its website address.

It’s now dmv.sc.gov, and the agency email has also changed.

officials say this comes after scammers sent out fake texts pretending to be from the DMV.

The new address still offers several online services such as updating an address, turning in a license plate and more.
