Local Living: Free Fridays, Wild Lights at the zoo, community camp fire, Bert Kreischer bringing laughs to Township Auditorium
LOCAL LIVING: COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, Free Fridays are back at Riverbanks Zoo.
That means all Richland County and Lexington County residents can receive free admission every Friday for January and February.
Attendees will just need to bring a valid proof of residency which includes a South Carolina photo ID or a property tax statement.
If you are heading to the zoo, you still have time to see their annual Wild Lights event.
It’s from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight through Sunday, Jan. 11.
You can enjoy 60 larger-than-life handcrafted wildlife lantern displays and much more.
You can relax under the stars with a family-friendly night out.
Saluda Shoals Park is hosting a community camp fire from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. the night of January 30.
There will be hot dogs, live music, and an optional glow-night hike.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 dollars for children ages 3 to 12.
Are you in need of a good laugh, Comedian Bert Kreischer is bringing his permission to party tour to Columbia. The show is on Friday, January 16 over at Township Auditorium.
