Columbia Police investigating deadly Sunday night hit-and-run

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia Police are investigating a deadly hit-and-run.

Officers say shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday night, Jan. 10, 2026, they were called to North Main Street and the on-ramp to I-20 east.

Police believe a car hit a male pedestrian while driving on the on-ramp.
