3 displaced after Palisades Circle afternoon fire
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia-Richland 1st shift crews responded to a house fire on Monday afternoon, says CRFD.
According to the fire department, Columbia-Richland firefighters along with Fort Jackson Fire Department responded to a home fire on Palisades Circle on Monday, Jan. 12, 2026.
Firefighters arrived to the fire off of Decker Boulevard shortly before 4:15 p.m.
A passerby called 911 to report that bushes outside of the home were on fire.
CRFD says the fire then spread up the exterior of the home and into the attic.
No one was injured but three people have been left displaced, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
