President Trump purchased $5.1 million in bonds

(CNN)– President Trump purchased up to $51-million worth of company and municipal debts at the end of the year.

That’s according to a financial disclosure form submitted by the White House which showed 191 financial transactions.

The investments included four purchases of Netflix and Discovery Communications bonds worth up to $2 million.

The investments were made after Netflix announced it planned to purchase Warner Brothers Discovery’s Studio and HBO assets.

Trump has said he would be involved in the regulatory decisions on whether to allow the proposed deal to go through.
