NYSE developing tokenized platform

(CNN)– The New York Stock Exchange says it’s developing a platform for trading tokenized securities.

Those are unique digital replacements for the real thing.

Tokens are on digital databases called Blockchains.

The exchange says the platform would allow trading around the clock, and help meet the demands of the digital future.

The project requires regulatory approval.
