3 people displaced after early Thursday duplex fire

 

 

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– CRFD says 2nd shift crews worked to quickly contain a fire that broke out early Thursday afternoon.

Fire officials say firefighters responded to an early Thursday afternoon, Jan. 22, fire that happened inside a duplex on Valleybrook Road around 12:30 p.m.

Crews arrived to the scene, made entry into the home and found the fire in an upstairs bedroom before extinguishing it.

No one was injured but three people were left displaced.

The Richland County Fire Marshal’s Office is looking into what caused the fire.
