COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A Midlands man believes his $1 million Powerball win was divine intervention, said SC Lottery officials.
“I said a prayer,” he told South Carolina Education Lottery officials.
He played his Powerball numbers at the Best Stop on Bush River Road in Columbia.
The ticket matched the first five white ball numbers drawn on November 26 (7 – 8 – 15 – 19 – 28 and PB 3) to win the $1 million prize.
The odds of winning $1 million are 1 in 11,688,054.
