Papa John’s relaunches pan pizza

(CNN)– Papa John’s hopes a move backward will help it move forward.

After facing slumping sales for two years the pizza chain is now banking on a menu item from its past to help draw customers back.

The restaurant is re-launching pan pizza, something it hasn’t offered in a decade.

The move is a big gamble for CEO Todd Penegor whose other turnaround efforts have not worked so far.

Analysts say the biggest thing most people consider when deciding where to order is the price.
