TSA will charge travelers without Real ID starting February

 

 

(CNN)– Starting next month, the U.S. Transportation Security Administration will enforce a new policy for travelers without a Real ID.

Beginning February 1st, which is Sunday passengers will have to pay a $45 fee in order to use an alternative identity verification system.

TSA confirm ID will be an option for those without a Real ID.

Passengers can use the alternative ID for a 10-day travel period.
