SCHP: 1 dead after Monday ATV collision, coroner identifies person

SALUDA COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– SC troopers with the SC Highway Patrol say one person is dead after an ATV collision on Monday, Feb. 2, 2026.

Officials say a person driving a Polaris side-by-side was traveling on Old Charleston Road near Forest Hills Road around 4:30 p.m. in the afternoon.

Troopers say they ran off of the road, hit an embankment, and overturned.

The driver who was identified by Saluda Co. Coroner’s Office as Natalie Long, 41,

of Saluda Co. died at the scene.
