COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The Gamecocks wrapped up their 11th practice of fall camp Wednesday morning with a physical workout outside the Jerri and Steve Spurrier Indoor Practice Facility.
USC featured its corps of running backs, one of the deepest positions on the roster, with Rico Dowdle and Ty’Son Williams taking the majority of snaps.
Running backs coach Bobby Bentley says those two (Dowdle and Williams) have “separated themselves” in practice. He still wouldn’t name a starter for Carolina’s season-opener against Coastal on September 1, but did hint at using four backs, including Mon Denson.
