Chrysler recalls 450K vehicles

(CNN)– Chrysler is recalling more than 450,000 vehicles over a defect that could cause trailer brake lights, or the brakes themselves to fail.

Traffic safety officials say the faulty modules may prevent trailer brake lights from illuminating, or cause trailer brakes to stop working altogether increasing the risk of a crash.

The recall includes 2026 Jeep Cherokees, and 2024 through 2026 Jeep Wagoneer S models.

2025 and 2026 Ram 1500 series trucks are also included in the recall.
